historic hilltop chapel
nestled within a forest of trees

stars dust the evening sky
like pieces of silvery confetti thrown into
the chilly December air

doors open
welcoming holiday guests
to a musical celebration of the season
flowers and ribbon adorn the pews
warm glow of candlelight
adds to the enchantment of the evening

stories shared of Christmas memories
musicians masterfully strum guitars and harps
glide bows gracefully over strings
voices sing in elegant harmony
